The scientific communities have long been belligerent and dismissive toward new technologies that threaten their "perceived" understandings of the intricate physical world mainly because of the fact it invalidates their platform or comfort zone relative to being human or rather they are unwilling to allow for Ideas that are emotionally discordant with their "religious" & metaphysical positions in the Universe. It is time for us to evolve or "grow up" if you will, As a species we are capable of such terrible night mares and yet such wonderful dreams. The choice is within each person to do so. An example from history, It was believed hundreds of years ago that the world was indeed flat contrary to overwhelming evidence even then. It was viewed tantamount to heresy to utter such a belief yet.... out of fear of the unknown people chose to dismiss it, a ridiculous notion today yes, so how is the contention that life is everywhere in the universe any different?
